Inspiration

In the Gulf, the mabkhara is more than a vessel — it is a gesture of welcome. Clothes, abayas, and kandoras are passed gently through rising bakhoor smoke before guests arrive, so that fragrance moves with every step. Later, a line of oud is placed on the wrists and behind the ears, completing a ritual rooted in hospitality and respect.

Oud x Bakhoor translates that tradition into a single composition.

Arabian bakhoor rises first — warm, resinous, and enveloping. A subtle leather nuance follows, adding a discreet refinement. At the base, Indian oud anchors the fragrance with familiar gravity — reminiscent of gatherings, celebrations, and evenings spent in the majlis.

Reimagined from oil heritage into extrait-strength spray, this creation preserves authenticity while allowing the scent to bloom in a refined mist.

The Scent

The Scent

Oud x Bakhoor opens with the unmistakable warmth of Arabian bakhoor — smoky, resinous, and richly atmospheric. The effect is immediate yet composed, like incense slowly curling through still air.

A supple leather note adds depth and texture, bringing elegance without softening the character. As the fragrance settles, Indian oud emerges — dark, grounding, and deeply traditional — leaving a lasting impression that feels both intimate and commanding.

The result is bold yet dignified, unmistakably Arabian, and quietly powerful.
